A little bit about me...
I am blessed to be the mother of four wonderful children.
My divorce story began thirteen days before I gave birth to my fourth child.
I have been a homeschooling mom for 12 years.
We live on our small hobby farm in the beautiful mountains of Western NC, complete with animals!
I was a full-time homemaker before transitioning to mompreneur.
I am a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, becoming an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach (INHC). I also completed IIN's Advanced Gut Health Program as well as additional training on Emotional and Binge Eating approved by the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching (NBHWC).
I have completed additional trainings approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) on Domestic Violence, specifically Spousal and Partner Abuse, as well as Children exposed to Domestic Violence and other high-conflict situations.
My vision when creating Divorce Doula Method was to take a different approach by combining my personal experience with high-conflict divorce as well as my education as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. In doing so, I could help moms to not only survive but thrive despite their current struggles. I am a firm believer that health needs to be (and can be) a priority throughout the divorce process. It really makes a huge difference!
I spend much of my time making meals and desserts from scratch, baking sourdough bread, and fermenting, using whole foods and the best quality ingredients I can afford. I dedicate my days to making lasting memories in my kitchen with my kids.
I would love to share with you my successes and the lessons I have learned along the way throughout my own high-conflict divorce. There is nothing more important than having a strong support system in place to listen to and guide you through your journey. Together, we can navigate your path both through the divorce and beyond.
